Government Spending was 6.5% of GDP in 1907.

Government spending averaged 25.7 percent of GDP from 1900 until 2022.

Government spending was 47% of GDP on 2020 but that was a covid year with artificially low gdp. I saw someone on TV ssy it was 44% of GDP in 2021 but I read elsewhere that it was below 40% so let's go with that.

The point is that government % of our economy has grown rapidly and all the dems can propose is to grow it even more.
