Has anyone here at any success in using a Dewalt DXAEPS2 to power a TV and portable Dish receiver while tailgating?

I'm just exploring options. If so, what length of battery life can one expect?

for that price I think I'd look at one of those little portable genny's. 52 db for some.

I'm ok with calculating my wattage -- the TV and portable Dish are a combined 50+ watts. I'm just not sure how to convert what length of duration the device can power the TV and portable Dish.

Dewalt is hiding the fact that it is a modified sine wave inverter. It simply means, if you plug in your valuable electronics, the waveform will mess it up. its only good to power things (like a fan) with no internal electronic in it. Look for 'Pure sine wave inverter if you want to save your electronics.

^^ This. Always test your electronics first. I had an inverter that would not run a satellite receiver, but didn't actually harm it. Unless you're running something for a really long time your best bet is a simple inverter and deep cell marine battery.
