Did anyone else watch other games last night and feel envious?

It has been so long where we've had an offense where I'm holding my breath on every play, it is the new normal as a Penn State fan. It is embarrassing being a Penn State fan right now. I honestly don't think we can take University of Richmond lightly if we were to play them. I went to the JMU vs. Moorhead State game last evening and JMU could potentially beat Penn State. That is the state of our program nowadays. How do we have a team full of 4* and 5* kids and we get the product on the field that we have? It's embarrassing and I'm ashamed to openly root for Penn State football. Here is a summary of the 3 major issues with this team that any independent observer would recognize:

  1. Our offense coaching is atrocious. No innovation, no excitement, no adjustments. We ran the same 6-7 plays the entire game. WTF!
  2. Hack is not very good. Even when he had chances, he didn't capitalize. Overthrew open receiver down the sidelines which would've put us up 17-0, locks in on 1 receiver (mostly Geno "butterfingers" Lewis), has no pocket presence, holds onto the ball way too long, and has 0 mobility...I mean like statue mobility. Does any QB have less mobility than Hack? My God, is the kid's feet made of concrete?
  3. Our offense line is the worst line in college football. Honestly, James Madison University's line is better, more cohesive, and tougher. In 2 years we can't get a serviceable OLine?
This was the most embarrassing and pathetic performance of any Penn State team I've ever seen. I think we as fans, alumni, and donors deserve a public apology from the staff. If any recruits were smart, they'd run for the hills.
