Likewise, I’m not a fan of anything related to Dion, but hit was way outside the lines. Was there any penalty called? It could be flagged for a late hit, but that doesn’t do it justice.
I just saw the clip. I’d like to know too. That is definitely Unsportsmanlike Conduct
Coaches and their teams should be held accountable with fines/suspensions/sanctions. Certain teams play that way, and they play that way because the coaches teach that. Don't rely on the field crews alone to throw flags - officials have very little power to stop this. Coaches have the power though -- they can bench players instead of encouraging this.
Similar to what happened to Warren yesterday except his was from behind…no flag.
Did anyone see the similar late cheap-shot by Minny d-back on Tyler Warren? Minny player went in low at Warren's knee from the side long after an incomplete pass on the sideline.
It was low and late, I would say I was astounded at the lack of flag, but BIG officiating is so freaking bad that I come to expect it. But then again, if you talk trash while stepping over a guy, they will flag you for 15 yards, sometimes....
The Minny player intentionally went after his knee well after the ball had sailed incomplete on the sideline - very, very clearly late and intentional (with the clear intent of injuring Warren) - the b2g joke Official was right there, watched the whole disgusting thing and did nothing. Hope Kraft and CJF send this clear bull$hit cheapshot to the b2g Commissioner - this Conference is so bushleague and full of raging hypocritical douchebags - especially the Officiating Office.
Tyler got into a scuffle late in Purdue game because some guy tried to gator roll his knee while going out of bounds. It was quick but Tyler immediately got in his face. Sneaky and cheap
