Didn't the Olympics almost do away with wrestling a few years ago? You'd think Foley would be happy with any good wrestling publicity, particularly a crossover article.

Good publicity isn't a zero sum game, there's no maximum capacity; you just enjoy it when it happens. Or, I guess, you can bitch about it and cause everyone to roll their eyes.

I agree that Foley has just seemed to go off the tracks over the last three years. I think it is awesome a NFL coach is impressed with college wrestling, this is a good thing! Foley, well there is something not news worthy.

That's three dozen self beclownments since he promised by Tweet to share his feelings about Olympic cheating, for those of you keeping track.

Olympic cheating has been going on forever....the Korean Judges conspired with Russian Judges to literally rob Nate Carr of his shot at the Gold in the 1988 Seoul Olympics - even the Governing Olympic Committee ruled in favor of the U.S.'s formal protest, but only sanctioned the judges of the match instead of reversing the result because subsequent matches had already been wrestled. Nate ended up winning the Bronze, but was robbed blind in the Championship Bracket (again, even the Olympic Committee hearing the US appeal agreed that the wrong result was intentionally rendered and thus sanctioned the judges of the match that cheated in favor of the Korean wrestler who wrestled in the Championship Match despite losing to Carr by clear rules - lost by score & disqualification as the Korean Wrestler clearly fled the mat with 2 stalling dings already on him and Carr still took him down while fleeing, but they didn't give Carr either the points or enforce the DQ either of which would have given Carr the win)

Foley has become the Chris Berman of wrestling reporting. He needs to be wheeled off the set and never be heard from again.

Every now and then Foley lets his passive aggressive nature show. If this article had not specifically praised Cael and PSU he probably wouldn't have reacted the same way.

Another week, another Foley self-beclownment.
Second time today that I've seen the word beclownment (other was directed at the Spike, maybe by El-Jefe as well?). Don't know if it is a real word or not (spell checker not recognizing it, but it doesn't recognize Jabroni either and I'm 100% certain that is a real word from Sunny in Philly), but I think it is my new favorite. Thanks El-Jefe

Going to use it a lot, before it becomes politically incorrect, like a few other terms. You know, clowns are people to, and have feelings. They just can't verbally express it.
