Semi related: Soccer is probably the only sport that I prefer to watch the woman over the men simply because you don't see nearly as much of these assinine antics in the women's game as you do in the men's.
Agree 100%. I was just saying this to a friend the other day. You don't see near the amount of flopping in the women's game.
Aside from this, I don't think the difference in skill, athleticism, etc is as glaring as in other sports. Basketball is by far my favorite sport that both men and women play, but women's soccer is far more watchable than women's hoops, IMO.
Again, the game is in Paris, not the South of France where the 110+ temps are being recorded. Temps are expected to be in the mid80s for the start of the game.

The difference in skill and athleticism is just as glaring. I watch a lot of soccer and enjoy watching our women, but don’t be fooled. They are the rough equivalent of good U15 clubs
It's gametime and temps are mid 80s with low himidity and a mid breeze. Warm, not horrific.
That said, watching our women practicing in full midday heat in the sun made little sense to me. Find shade, stay rested and hydrated. We'll see how the game plays out.
