I'm missing the board rules about selling things through the forum? Is that allowed now because we could really turn this place into a good eBay alternative for the members.

I suspect that are no board rules about it, and perhaps the fact that I'm offering an historical novel that I've written--presumably an unusual scenario--mitigates my apparent offense to the power(s) that be. I know I've done a very bad thing, and I will feel guilty about it for the foreseeable future. Thank you for bringing me to my senses.

It's quite an achievement by a fellow Penn Stater and we should celebrate it.
If he can sell a few copies here, I support it. I doubt we're on the slippery slope to becoming craigslist.

Now don't be beating yourself up over it. Was just saying that it is a bit odd that with all the other random topics that come up, this is the only one that comes up where someone is actually trying to sell something. And a monthly thread on Norse and Vikings does catch my attention - so mission accomplished on that front.

Hey, Ned, I've got no problem with any of the posts. We all take ourselves too seriously sometimes, and every message bumps the original post up to the top again. If a couple of people here read the thread and finish the novel, I'm pleased.

This novel is more historically accurate than any other novel about the Vikings I’ve ever encountered. By intention.
