I’m sure someone at the NCAA knew what was going on, but I would bet it was in a way to result in plausible deniability. I wouldn’t be surprised if shredders and hard drive scrubbing programs have been working overtime. The NCAA likely keeps an eye on all facets of it’s billion dollar March Madness baby and related activities in order to protect the revenue stream.

Because it happened on his watch (and in fairness on many of his predecessors), my hope is that the Feds come at them and suggest that they have failed as an organization and are not equipped to serve as the oversight entity they claim to be.
