Good read and I found this part of the article interesting re funding for the women in the HWC. "“We are not cutting funding,” he said. “As a matter of fact, we have an unlimited budget, meaning whatever’s best for our women and whatever’s best for our Hawkeye Wrestling Club is what we’re going to do". Just jabbing at the Iowa fans who insist the NLWC has a slush fund.

Unlimited budget? From Brand's own mouth. I guess this kind of puts to bed the theory that PSU having more money than Iowa had anything to do with the past 10 years. ISU certainly doesn't have this unlimited budget, but I wish we did.

Apologize for this one: I have to imagine a single prosperous Iowa wrestling fan could make up the difference. Make it 3 or 4. But 900,000 is less than our local library’s budget. Or, the Brands’ brothers could remortgage their homes.
