I don't think a single one of us came into this season thinking that Hack would stay for his senior year. The media circus around him and his potential was incredible and it seemed that everyone had him in their top 3 QBs in the 2016 draft if not at the top.

Now we are headed into week 4. There are 9 guaranteed games left. His stats to date are as follows:
35/71, 49.3% completion, 1 TD and 2 INT

He has looked shaky at times. Phil wrote today about footwork issues. He has been rattled by a an inconsistent o-line and while they have made great strides in the past two weeks compared to Temple, we won't really know much about their improvements until we play a really talented defense again.

I've seen early draft boards that have now dropped him way down while others have him still in the first round, but out of the top 3 and pushing the bottom of the top 10. Granted I am with you when you say you put no stock into early draft boards, but lets think seriously on this.

If Hack is a projected first rounder I think he has to go and a pro-style offense in the NFL could be incredible for him. However, if his stats line keeps on the way it is and his fundamentals continue to decline, does anyone think he would stay? Is it better for him to get out of a system that doesn't have the players or coaches to make you look as good as you can be? I think we all will agree that Hack under O'Brien is a very different Hack under Franklin.

Personally I think he is going to the draft, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on this. Right now I would categorize this season as not the season you want behind you before you enter the draft.
