Yes, but they have not played a ranked team yet this season. Heck, I don't know if they have played a team over .500 yet this season...

Ok - the only teams that Wisky beat that are over .500 are a 4-3 FAU team and a 5-3 NW team, who is only over .500 because they won in OT today.

Our destiny is obviously no longer in our own hands, but CFP hopes are not totally gone. We need to win out and hope for some breaks.

Without a conference title it’s going to be hard. I think with our OOC schedule and Michigan being our big win it’s going to be tough.
It would not surprise me if we drop out of the top 10. The voters were hoping we lost.
Let the season play out and we'll see. It's much more difficult now, but stilll possible. If ND drops another, 2 from the B10 is possible.
TCU and Clemson???? No chance. Clemson lost to SU, TCU to ISU... that's a weaker resume than ours

We lost by 1 point to the #6 team at Their place when we were a 7 point dog.

Georgia needs to lose before playing Alabama. A 12-1 Georgia will get in before an 11-1 Penn State.

So do bad losses matter or not? They had a horrible loss. PSU lost to the #6 team on the road by one point.
and don't forget, we beat the spread. We were 7 point dogs. What kept us out last year was a bad loss
Still some things to shake out. Tough loss, but you can see we need to get better still up front on both sides. Franklin is moving the program in the right direction.
TCU beat oklahoma state. Clemson has beaten Virginia Tech and Auburn. Resumes aren't who you lose to when you only lose once, It's who you beat.
Not sure about the voters, but the Fox announcers were certainly hoping we would lose. And they got their wish.
If you had to pick them to beat another team in the top ten head to head would you? They’re unbeaten so they’re ranked high but this week alone the media was questioning an undefeated UW having enough of a resume even if they won the B1G championship game. Miami while resilient hasn’t been impressive against a pretty lousy schedule. In fact they both struggled against today against probably the worst teams in their respective conferences.
