Don't look now but the Bucco's are only 3 games back.

This last month and a half will obviously make or break them since almost all of the games are coming against the central.

I have been honestly only keeping up with them in the standings, not actually watching.

For those that have been watching, do we have a chance?

This team is really strange. They are 2-8 against the Reds and 1-5 against the Giants.

I think they are a .500 team this year. There is a chance with a little health they can play above 81 wins but I don't think they are a 90 win team.

I still think that the Cubs have too much and will win the division. The Cards always seem to find a way to be right there. Buccos are 4 games back in the loss column but you never know. I hope they can remain in the hunt to make September meaningful and fun to watch.

Every time I do look, they go into a tailspin. That said, they are in it even though it doesn't feel that way.

Expect to have your heart broken.
At least they have been more entertaining to watch in the last 4 - 5 seasons.

Today was a perfect example as to why. As an aside, I can't take watching Marte anymore. They need to rid themselves of this lazy waste of talent. With Polanco being a major disappointment and Cutch inevitably headed elsewhere, this vaunted outfield has apparently fizzled out.

I'm not allowed to watch them because I live 2 1/2 hours west of Pittsburgh, and while I'm closer to 2 other professional MLB teams, I'm blacked out, because baseball hates fans and the future of their sport.
