Summer after my junior year at PSU, a buddy’s friend (a female) from our hometown moved up and lived in our apartment with us while we took summer classes, worked crappy student summer jobs, etc. She couldn’t find work so she took up dancing at Cadillac Alley. Her stage name was remarkably similar to Lola. I’ll be forever glad I basically have zero personal stories from that experience. Was a surprising combination of weird, sad and boring. But the one lesson I took from it was they ALL have a story.
