Hopefully there are a few assistants who know his methods. Galt has been a great asset.
That O line has been pushing people around for 8 years lol...yep huge loss. That is the biggest loss of the offseason.
How so? This team has been soft as charmin up front offensively for 8 seasons.Hopefully there are a few assistants who know his methods. Galt has been a great asset.
Really? Our teams have been bullied all over the field.Hopefully there are a few assistants who know his methods. Galt has been a great asset.
Well, there seems to be a difference between being strong and being soft.... muck and muscle, getting down and dirty and reveling in beating the crap outta his opponent is about the kid... building the base to make that happen was Galt's job.How so? This team has been soft as charmin up front offensively for 8 seasons.
I don't think that is true... our OLine has been and so have some of our DL's but I wouldn't go further than that. All about character... either ya got balls or ya don't. They had plenty of muscle... looks like hercules, plays like bambi applied far too often.Really? Our teams have been bullied all over the field.
However you want to define it, we have been pushed around/bullied.I don't think that is true... our OLine has been and so have some of our DL's but I wouldn't go further than that. One gap? Is that gap not the most important aspect?!Question: Can Galt's methods be excellent for quick twitch athletes like WRs, Safeties, OLBs, and Running Backs.....but not as great for the big boys OL and DL?
Asking out of ignorance. Our RBs, WRs, D ends, Safetys look similar in stature to the Georgias, OSUs and Alabamas.
Our OL and DTs do not look the same as the playoff teams. Is it recruiting the big boys....certainly a part of the answer or is it training methods? I think also a part of the problem.
On the whole what Galt has done for PSU has been excellent........the one gap seems to be in the interior of the OL and the interior of the DL......thoughts?

All lifting routines are based on position played. Not a one size fits all. Been in the weight room when the team is lifting. I can confirm this is the case.Question: Can Galt's methods be excellent for quick twitch athletes like WRs, Safeties, OLBs, and Running Backs.....but not as great for the big boys OL and DL?

It’s definitely Franklin’s goofy scheme. It’s the underlying problem every season.Yep. let's go back to Joe's HIT. When Joe had HIT poster were pulling their hair out that we were not doing squats, other heavy lifts. Galt brought that and those posters rejoiced. Now he is/was the problem??? It's the RPO scheme boys that makes our OL look bad in the run game.
