Kickoff at 4:25 p.m. EST in L.A. This has the makings of a good professional football game (oxymoron?). Who wins?

Wentz and Goff have similar numbers going into today's game.

Wentz: 242-399, 3005 yards, 29 touchdowns, 6 interceptions

Goff: 244-392, 3184 yards, 20 touchdowns, 6 interceptions

Forget the fantasizing. Just talk the game. Who wins?

Well I have two favorite NFL teams...the Rams and whoever is playing the Eagles. So, doubling down this week and gotta go with the Rams!!
As a long suffering Rams fan this is truly the first NFL game I have looked forward to in many years.

In a tight game like this, go with the home team.

I don't know how intimidating the Rams home crowd is, though I don't think of California athletic supporters being so intimidating. On the other hand, I heard on NFL Network that the Eagles have been in California all week, so they have adjusted to the time change and weather.

I do think the Eagles were smart to stay out there, and it may give them the win.

The Rams. The Eagles have beaten exactly one team with a winning record (the 8-4 Panthers) and many of their wins have come at the expense of teams that have had significant injuries/suspensions, etc. (i .e. Cowboys without Elliott, Lee, etc) or teams that have fallen apart as the year progressed (i .e. Denver). Wentz is still a hell of a player and the Eagles are good. I just think the Rams win this one. Should be an interesting one though.

The home team... Eagles! When the coach of the Rams has the QB practicing using the silent count all week because they know Eagles fans will take over the stadium, you know it's bad. This will basically be a home game for the Eagles. Hell the Rams are having actors playing the roles of Rams fans this eeek and at the game

Roman Gabriel will outplay Ron Jaworski in this battle between original NFL franchisees. I think being on the west coast since the Seahawk loss takes its toll on the Iggles. It's like being back in camp. The fighting Garbriels by a TD.

As if the Jason Peters loss wasn’t enormous. Please. Teams have figured out Dak and dunk which amounts to some of the Cowboys woes

Indeed Dak has looked very pedestrian since Zeke has been out. Zeke looks like the guy that makes that team go not Dak. Playbook on Dak is out keep him in the pocket and make him beat you over the top.

Wentz makes at least one big play with his legs (which Goff can't do).

Birds 24
Rams 23

I don't follow the nfl too closely, but I am intrigued by this game and Wentz vs. Goff. Rushing stats so far this season:

Wentz: 61 for 283 (4.6 ypc), 3 runs for 20+ yards, 0 TDs

Goff: 23 for 55 (2.4 ypc), 1 run for 20+ yards, 1 TD

One other difference I saw in the rushing stats is fumbles. Wentz has fumbled five times, two of which were lost fumbles. Goff hasn't fumbled this year. The Wentz fumble heading into the end zone against Seattle last week arguably cost them the game.

Rams. I'm not convinced either team is legit yet. Really looking forward to the NFC playoffs. Should be wide open. I think Atlanta might still be the favorite if they get in

....and just like that, the Eagles have 4 road wins over teams with a winning record.

Goff lost a fumble today that cost his team the game. And Nick Foles helped pull the game out for the Birds.
