Note: The information will continue to be updated, so these are indications, not forecasts.

However early looks at natural ocean conditions point to a likely cooler fall and perhaps a warmer December in the U.S. The remainder of the winter may be cooler. Developing...

We may be seeing the end of the AMO's - Atlantic Multidecidal Oscillation Warm Phase. The Warm Phase has been ongoing for a very long time. Many decades. The Cool Phase is coming.

Will be interesting to see how Northern Hemisphere temps change, as this massive Atlantic Ocean area gets naturally cooler. It is already showing signs of cooling in both the North Atlantic and the Tropical Atlantic. That ending of the AMO Warm Phase squeezes the remaining warmth into the central Atlantic region.

During this final end game of the AMO Warm Phase, we may see an increase in storms and may see more hit the U.S. If so, this would be due to the end game conditions of the Warm AMO and the possible growth of storms from the remaining warm areas being squeezed near the central East Coast of the U.S.

Enjoy!
