Here you go deplorables. Spending increase over previous fiscal year.

FY2015 $182 billion
FY2016 $164 billion
FY2017 $129 billion
FY2018 $126 billion

Spending increased more over Obama's last two years than Rump's first two.
It matters because it is perfectly legitimate that there is probably a lag when spending adds to economic growth. Ask any conservative economist. They all teach it in econometrics. A two year lag is probably just about right.
