Accidentally deleted this earlier but here's who Penn State is hosting for their third Elite Prospect camp on Wednesday. Some noteables.
2023:
QB Colin O'Sullivan (Upper Dublin) - Boston College recently offered him a PWO spot and he performed well at an Elite 11 regional- don't perceive him as a P5 quarterback but think he would be a solid potential walk-on. 7on7 teammates with Jameil Lyons and Yazeed Haynes.
WR Robby Matos (Blue Ridge) - Brother of Yetur Gross-Matos.
DE Ishmael Findlayter (Clarkson) - Canadian prospect here out of Missaugua, recently camped at Alabama and Oklahoma. According to his defensive coordinator at Clarkson, he would have an offer from Oklahoma if the Sooners had room at the position.
OL Anthony Caccese (Exeter) - Army is his only P5 offer was at camp on Sunday and impressed enough to get invited back.
2024:
QB Julian Dugger (Penn Hills) - Early offers from UMass, Pitt, and Toledo. Considerable upside.
QB Samaj Jones (St. Joes Prep) - Holds offers from Boston College and Louisville. Tells me St. Joes Prep will have quit a big group.
RB Erik Sanchez (St. Joes Prep)
*WR David Washington Jr (St Joes Prep)- Not camping but is on campus. Boston College, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, West Virginia
*WR Brandon Rehmann (St. Joes Prep) - Boston College, Kentucky, Lousiville, Maryland, Michigan State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, West Virginia
WR Evan Austin (Oakdale) - Nine offers including Boston College, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech
2025:
*S Anthony Sacca (St. Joes Prep) - Tells me he won't be camping but I believe he will still be in Happy Valley. Obviously a legacy here, son of Tony Sacca. Has a chance to be the best player in state in the class of 2025. At 6-foot-4, his future is either at linebacker or if he continues to grow, defensive end. Special talent either way.
