Emotional video of Spider.

He really choked up when he talked about O'Brien inviting all of the lettermen on to campus and how Joe would have approved.

What a treasure Spider is to the PSu family. I am grateful for the time Bill OBrien spent in happy valley. He was the right man at the right time. I think he could have done special things in happy valley but i understand he wanted to follow his own dream so I wish him the best. I am excited and proud to have James Franklin leading the nittany lions.

Spider's a one-in-a-million. Penn State is very lucky to have an employee with his values and love for the University. You just gotta love the guy.

Couldn't agree more, Spider is a part of Penn State football and there's no one whose been around the program or knows more about the program than him. As for O'brien you are spot on, what he did in his time here however short it was will always be appreciated and remembered and we would not be in the position we're in today, had we stayed with tom bradley or hired Schiano or Al Golden
