End zone 'jogging in place'

You have probably seen lots of guys doing a silly-looking jogging in place after a TD, interception, sack or some other great cause for exuberant celebration. If you are like me, you have been wondering where this came from and why is everyone doing this all of a sudden?
According to YahooNews it is because of a rap video
And of course it is drug related.....
Thanks for the information. Since I watch no college games but ours and no rap videos of any kind, I am out of the loop. I think I'll stay there.

Ha. When I read the title of the thread, I thought you were making an analogy to the fact that our offense seems to "jog in place" in the red zone. How many times did we not get TDs this year in the RZ? Yep. Jogging in place.

Yeah, I'm in Chicago's northwest suburbs.....about 30 miles from The Loop! No real reason to go to The Loop!

Near the beginning of the Bowl game they showed our RZ statistics and I must have had a look of disbelief because my son looked over at me and started laughing...I said, "Did that say our red zone offense was 8th in the COUNTRY?!?!" He laughed and said, "yea, hard to believe isn't it?"

Our TD to FG ratio in the RZ must be one of the worst in the country then.

LOL-Illi. How's the fonz?

Thanks for asking, he's really depressed. A little bulldog in our neighborhood's been giving him crap about the Georgia win.

OTHER than that, he's doing good. Hard to believe he'll be one year old on 2/16/16. I'll have to update the pic. Somebody up above was watching out for me when I was fortunate enough to get him!!!!!

So, quick question, if teams wear throwback uniforms of the 80's, do they do "the Safety Dance", after they score?
