Escape the Rock Field Announced

Great field. What's up with the Beat the Streets entry? Sounds interesting.
We have partnered with BTS for the past several years, inviting a team from the Philadelphia Public League to compete at ETR that is selected in cooperation with BTS. This year that may be a little different as individuals from several public city schools that train at BTS will compete - PIAA competition points permitting.

I think it was posted in the other thread, but I'll answer here - who are the favorites?

Blair, Malvern and Beca will all be bringing 13 kids that are podium caliber and should be the top 3. I expect Beca may be in the convo crash the top 5 nationally this year.

Beyond that we have a bunch of saints and christians that are bringing 7, 8 kids who can make the stand and by the fall it may even be more. St. Joe's Regional I'm very confident will be in the top 10 and may challenge the top 3 but beyond that the team race will be very interesting. Our partial applications this year were so strong and those kids will shake up the podium so that some really strong teams may finish outside the top 10.

Public schools will probably be best represented by Southern Regional (NJ), Northampton and Central Mountain. All three of those schooks are looking at banner years next year IMO.

FCA vs NDGP vs Becca vs Northampton…district 11 arms race at its finest. The area is loaded with talent but can they all really be elite? FCA is on the rise (due to their academics 😂😂😂) , Becca has the track record, Northampton has its feeder club. I get the feeling NGDP is at the crossroads of maintaining its quick rise to the AA elite or becoming the new St Joseph’s Academy.

Notre Dame returns 9 State qualifiers from last years team. Am sure they will be just fine lol.

Yeah, they are also adding Fugazzato this year and probably others I am unaware of. Of the 4 teams listed I would rank them:

Beca - Top 10 team nationally with or without Kasak wrestling for them next year
Notre Dame GP - probably deserves to be ranked in the top 50 sometime next year

Then FCA and then Northampton. Northampton will be led by Condomitti and the 2 Wagners and then have some very tough kids for duals like Noe, Micheli, and Basara. Czarnecki coming back from injury will help them, but they are looking up at the two AAA giants in D11. FCA is certainly coming, but they are still going to be pretty young. The Waters and Wiedemoyer kids may be able to make a very big impact next year but I still think that Notre Dame gets the best of them next year.

Faith Academy is going to turn lots of heads starting next year. They had a great run this year and their group coming in the next few years are very good. Two new families coming this summer from NJ and Maryland. Last two years they added 15plus kids from 8 plus schools. 6 PJW MS state champions this year. Hold my beer 🍺 Becca and Notre Dame, Faith is about to take over. McCruit is losing kids left and right. Varrett is in Colorado and heard a few toured Sem
