ESPN Coverage for NCAAs

No surprise but good to see confirmation of what appears to be similar coverage as last few years. Afternoon sessions on ESPNU, evening sessions on ESPN/ESPN2. Individual mats streamed on ESPN360.

Unless I stumble into a single ticket somehow, looks like I will have Byers sync'd to ESPN and flipping through mats like a monkey on crack.

there is no article, it is just in their day-to-day schedule that now stretches out far enough that you can see what they are planning to show through most of March...

One thing of note: it looks like ESPN3 has fully dropped their 4 way split screen capabilities, after hiding them in obscurity the last couple of years. A workaround we believe we’ve found is using a late model apple TV that does let you do split screen.

Mirror your computer onto the TV. Open 4 espn3 windows. No problem.

If you have a huge tv, open more windows.

My son has two monitors, so we can do all 8 mats at once.

We’ve done multiple windows like that before, but it was nice when it was integrated. 2 80” tvs is how we roll in March.

Expanding on aaLions terrific OP... I have updated the pinned spreadsheet to reflect the following:

Big Ten Tournament: Sessions 1, 2, & 3 now all confirmed on both BTN+ & FloPro as expected

NCAA Tournament: ESPN has published its Network coverages with some changes from last year.

Individual Mats will be available on ESPN3 for all sessions (same as past years)

ESPN will now carry even more “anchored” coverage of every session:

• First Round on ESPNU <= I don’t remember any “anchored” coverage of 1st rounds
  
  
• Second Round on ESPN <= I don’t remember this coverage last year, and certainly not on ESPN
  
  
• Quarterfinals on ESPNU <= same as in past I believe
  
  
• Semifinals on ESPN <= I don’t remember the semifinals on ESPN last year, thought it was on ESPNU or ESPN2

These “anchored” coverages will also replay early the next morning on ESPNU (see spreadsheet for details)
