Considering ESPN is paying approx $470 million to televise the NY6 games this year, I would lean towards them having a little more inside knowledge than CBS who is done televising college football for the year.
I saw some wiscy fan make argument that it wasn’t a neutral field that OSU had the number in the stand- doesn’t that show the committee their fans don’t travel well and PSU is the clear cash cow for the Rose Bowl.
Wisconsin was the opponent last night.
OSU is the prize team for FOX. Go back and count how many times they were in the Big Noon game.
Last night was all about pushing OSU. Had Minnesota been there, they would have gotten the boost.

Cbs projections are usually wrong for all the big games. Until it has an asterisk by it, they are just guessing.
And that is the point. The PSU D forced those turnovers. They were attacking to try to make plays. It isn't only the offense that can make plays in a game. The guy has some serious bias against PSU. He looks foolish. It's as if someone instructed him to make a dumb argument.

Actually, is have no problem with a cotton bowl bid vs Memphis, as long as the team doesn't get shuttled off to the outback or some such thing.
Based on the last 3-4 games, Wisconsin is the better team. Remember the Rutgers game. Not saying I wouldn't love the Nits to be in the Rose Bowl, but based on Wisconsin's gritty performance last night they would be a deserving choice. But PSU in the Rose Bowl is not the wrong choice, just a 50-50 shot.

You mean the Rutgers game where we were missing key guys including our starting QB? And now we’re only counting 3-4 games as a season? Shouldn’t it be about rewarding a team for what hey accomplished for an entire season? And Wiscy got to play OSU last night with a one legged QB...wish we would have gotten that opportunity.

All fair points. The question is are we a better team than Wisconsin today? I think we are, marginally. Would we beat Wisconsin if we played them today? Probably. My only point is that if we don't get to the Rose Bowl we need to stop the fu***ing whining and beat the team we play, which will be a good one.
News flash, what we say or do about which bowl we get has zero impact on whether we win or not. And complaining about our team getting screwed out of a game we feel they deserve is not whining....why aren’t you bashing Klatt for fu**ing whining about Wiscy not getting in?
