their view was there are some schools that have the NC DNA, and these schools are where the 4/5* players want to go. they based it on facilities, access to players in their region, sniffed or won NCs and coaching. we were one of the schools mentioned:
BIG
tOSU, UM and PSU
SEC
Bama, LSU and Georgia - maybe Florida (Tennessee a memory)
B12
Texas and Oklahoma
ACC
Clemson, Miami and FSU - VT a stretch (they were not aware of sPitt 9 NCs, so accidentally left them out)
PAC12
Oregon, USC and Washington - Stanford a stretch
a caller asked about Wisconsin, and they said Wisky was 47th, 45th, 33rd and 41st rank in last 4 classes. their point is you win with Jimmy and Joes more than Xs and Os. They also mentioned Iowa, NW and MSU that have had good seasons without big recruiting classes. They kept emphasizing a bunch of highly motivated 2/3* players who are diligent will win some games occasionally, but usually depend on being heavy on older SR/PG players. they told the Wisky caller to look at the last two games Wisky had played in BIG championship = talent difference was visible in both games.
