Actually, it is an issue that needs to be resolved (privately if possible) so that we can move forward together with a united front from our Letterman.
I have much respect for Shane Conlan. And his position on this matter deserves proper consideration and hopefully an amiable resolution.
I’m from the camp that believes that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even if it is wrong. I have no idea what Gattuso‘s thoughts on the whole Sandusky scandal were. I do know that the National and local media were out for blood and PSU’s board and administrators completely botched the situation. So if I were making a list of people to be angry with, Gattuso would be way down the list.
Anybody else recall George Paterno cursing out Gattuso on a live telecast after he jumped offsides against Bama in 1983? It was hilarious.

Everything I can find shows that Gattuso loved Joe and had nothing but good thing to say about him, before and after the scandal. Hopefully any personal issues between Gatusso and Conlan can be worked out, but a vague tweet of disgust is probably not the most mature way to begin that process.
I'm certainly not for depriving anyone of their opinion. And I'm still uncertain as to why Conlan responded in the manner that he did.
The poster who provided the reason in this thread brought accurate information re the hiring of coach Knowles as our DC. WRT this issue, I have no way of confirming the veracity of his allegation.
As I stated previously, I do not need to the specifics. I just desire for the situation to be amiably resolved.
