It is with deep regret and extreme sadness that I report Fonzie lost his Doghood on Wednesday.
Was in Deer Valley, UT with my brother and three kids Mon - Thurs and when I planned the trip I didn't realize the significance of the 8/26 date: National Dog Day AND the four month anniversary of his adoption.
I called him Wed night from Utah but he wouldn't talk to me.....when I picked him up Thurs eve he gave me the "what the fxxk did they do to me" look.
Weighed in at 37 pounds.....weighed out at 36 pounds 14 ounces.
SIDENOTE: Went horseback riding Tuesday morning for the first time since 1972.....a few weeks after I saw PSU & Cappy run over U of I in Champaign. Anyway, as our group of nine lined up in lightest-to-heaviest order, you should have seen the look on my horse's face as he realized he was ninth in the horse line. Priceless.
