Favorite moments of the Akron game

So many good things to say about yesterday - the fast start, dominating in all phases of the game (TD on a punt return!!!), the performance of our many skill players on offense, the defense performing very well as a unit, out-gaining the opponent by 410 yards (what is PSU's record for that statistic?), some neat wrinkles on offense, electrifying plays by Barkley, the list goes on...

Oddly, one of my favorite moments was Franklin's sideline response following Apke's punt return - Apke was just about to break one but the turf monster grabbed his pinky toe and he fell down. Apke was trotting back and you could tell he felt a little sheepish, and Franklin had this big smartass grin on his face, like he was thinking "you'll never live this down...we're gonna have so much fun with this in the film room." Some players had the same look, all good natured, and my guess is they're going to have some fun with this like families do when one of their own does something goofy. For some reason it really drove home for me what a bond this group has.

Did anyone else think this? Any other little moments in the game that made you just a little more sure that we have something special in 2017?
