I don’t recall this being discussed before, and I’m certainly not suggesting that Penn State adopt helmet stickers. Their stickers tell the story of the player, indicating wins (by all time win number), bowl games, rivalry games, academic success, etc. I think this is pretty cool.

Not a fan.

Helmet stickers are fun in high school as they are a good motivator and kids that don’t always get on the field can earn them for wins, foreign goals etc. college not so much.

I think the Michigan stickers are great because they can reward non starters for things other than success during the game, and are a visual indication of what the player did well. College kids need motivation as well.

In grade school, we had stars. They came in different colors like gold, silver, blue, red, etc. they were made of some sort of foil paper so they were shiny. I think that ended when we got to the third grade.

They should just have handerson stickers.

F*ck michigan. They shouldn’t even be playing football.
How low is the standard to get a sticker at Michigan? They’ve been so poor over the past decade or so.

Or is this an “everyone gets a sticker” thing just like everyone’s kid is an ‘honor student’ and everyone gets a trophy? ;)

It‘s michigan, so these “achievements” are, by definition, overrated.

Putting stars on my graded homework papers made me feel good....my parents, also.

When I played Little League we got stars for making a good play. The hat of the coach’s kid…covered in stars. 😢 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Edit: What does the Harbaugh sleepover sticker look like?

I like them and I've done stuff like that with some of my former teams. I stopped though when kids were wanting them for anything and everything. Too many Youth League coaches were giving out helmet stickers or whatever for just showing up that day. And then when I got the high school they wanted 4 or 5 a game when they might not have even played or practiced that week.
