Because, as good as Jewell is, and he is very good, he knows Barkley can evade him if he attacks. Jewell played that well--it would work perfectly against almost any back
LOL he evaded him this way, he has no chance with his feet stopped!! Dont break down, follow your eyes, and go make the play!!

JJ, a kid I hope and feel will do well in the NFL, has no shot in the open field against #26. Not many do. JJ played a very good game against PSU that day, but a 200 lb DB would have trouble against #26 in the open field.

I want to do a post with all the mock drafts and where they have Saquon. I’ll wait until after the combine because so much will change after that. I did see a video on YouTube that had Saquon going first overall. Unfortunately they thought he went to Pitt.

Jewell wasn't the first and he certainly won't be the last player Barkley makes look silly.

As for the draft, there is no gauging team need/desire for how the domino's fall. Cleveland is absolutely crazy to pass Barkley up. The difference in the top 3 QBs is minimal at the moment aka none of them appear definite locks to be a franchise guy. Get Barkley, and every other decision becomes easier from there.

SBs first love was boxing and he runs like a great puncher and great counter puncher...... deceleration, mis direction and burst..... all within one natural blink of the eye.

I saw where Jewell is a possible 2nd round pick for the Steelers, in badly need of help at ILB, with Shazier injury, along with Daesean in the 4th, and Wisconsin's Fumagalli in the 6th.

I understand what you're saying what Jewell's intent was to slow down Saquon until help got there. No LB wants to be one on one with Barkley in space. Jewell's a great college LB and will be a very solid pro.
