fc Coaches Hot Seat...early top 30 lots of B1G, lots of smartest guys in FB

several 'he should be PSU's next HC' guys. At least 1 guy has a second career, selling OXY on the side (Dana)

Huh? that list doesn't make any sense or I'm reading it completely wrong or its just a joke.
First off I'm going to go out on a limb and pretty much guarantee that Nick Saban is not on the Hot seat.
Ditto that for Mike Gundy, Kevin Sumlin, Les Miles and Pat Fitzgerald.
I'll also say the Mike Riley and Mark Stoops get a pass along with Bob Stoops, Derek Mason and Kevin Wilson.

Of the people on that list that I think are on the Hot Seat.
Mike London, Al Golden, Randy Edsall (C'mon no list is legit if he isn't on it.) and maybe Dana Holgorsen.

Was this written by retards, read by them, or both? Didn't open the link when the first poster said Nick Saban was on the hot seat.

fwiw the website www.coacheshotseat.com has been around for a number of years. During the season, and especially after the season, as coaches get fired, rehired etc, they provide some pretty good insight. At some point they will list every coach, and rate them with the possibility of being fired. Back in the day, JVP was usually listed as one of the least like to get fired along with Frank Beamer. Things will change over time.
FWIW if Alabama goes 7-5 this year, I could see Nick moving from 15 up to about 5. If he followed that up with another 7-5 year, I could see him getting 'promoted' to Asst AD in charge of playing golf with rich alums. Ask Mack Brown how all of that works.

How can Mike Riley be on the hotseat when he hasn't even coached a game yet? And, how is Tim Beckman not on this list?

Great, I've really been wondering about the coaching situations at New Mexico St, FIU and Georgia State

Me too. I'm really concerned for Coach Turner. I've followed his coaching career since his days under Foge Fazio at Pitt. Compelling.

Because Beckman record has gotten better every year?? I wonder if he signed an extension when they went to the bowl.
Mike Riley? at NE if your aren't winning the NC, you are on the Hot seat every year??
Check back to this site through out the season, gives you something to think about, and for the record I have nothing to do with this site.

Yes, I wasn't suggesting they were your rankings, just commenting on the site. Illinois' record has gotten better but I thought Beckman might still be on the hotseat for some of the negative stuff that has come out in the media about his behavior. Also, wishful thinking.

Would agree that Derek Mason is gone at Vandy if there is a huge improvement in both wins & coaching decisions.
