Why not say he promoted Spencer? You make it sound like he’s a new hire.
Props to Coach Spencer, but I'm not quite clear on some of these titles.
Do his responsibilities change? He's not a co-ordinator and still has the same position grouping (D-Line), right?
I'm good with that.Titular promotion more than anything, I'm sure it comes with a little salary bump, perhaps a few more administrative responsibilities, maybe a nice new contract.
Whatever the reality I'm sure it's important to SS which is the big thing.
Love Coach Spencer and the Wild Dogs.
Ask 78SweetRevenge...he can find the dark cloud in any silver lining.Someone please explain how this is a bad thing. It’s always a bad thing. There’s always a down side.
Maybe too much Rock in bottles tonight for the Kid....celebrating the Skeller. Why not say he promoted Spencer? You make it sound like he’s a new hire.

Not a preemptive strike. He’s promoting the program and the players and the assistant coaches. And it’s not really to keep these guys from moving up or out. It’s to be a thoroughfare for opportunity and a magnet for talent. It’s working.I think this is CJF’s way of trying to keep a guy who has or will have a lot of offers to get promoted somewhere else. Preemptive strike so to speak.
The downside is OUTRAGE!

Program is hitting its stride and players and coaches are jumping on board and advancing their careers quickly. Moves like this are part of the process.
The rising tide raises all ships.
