Doug Peterson to the Eagles as HC!?
http://footballscoop.com/the-scoop/
tyChiefs offensive coordinator Doug Pederson is expected to be a lead candidate for the head coaching job in Philly, per Adam Schefter. Pederson was a member of Andy Reid’s staff in Philadelphia from 2009-2012.

I'd rather be lucky than good

I'm not sold. Peterson is another risky hire, IMO. He was a QB, so there's at least a chance he could work well with Bradford.

Would be a safe, controllable hire. Pederson was/is an Andy Reid man. A move like this allows Howie to be the top dog. Still don't know Howie's connection to Lurie. Many have left the team's front office yet Howie survives?????

I'd be stunned if he was the choice given how Andy Reid departed. That power structure is still in Philly.
AR and Doug are at two different points in their careers. To become a HC I think Peterson will do what he has to. I think it could work

Sean McDermomt is another one in all the rumor mills, along with Sean Payton. This search is likely to be pretty extensive though and we will just have to wait and see. I doubt if it will be Shurmur, but maybe the new coach will retain him.

He was a favorite the day Chip was fired. There is a very short list of guys who could work with Howie. He is one of them.

One problem will be all the openings this offseason. The best candidates will seek out Indy and Tennessee for the young QBs.

Word out of Tennessee is that they are going to keep Mike Malarkey.....not sure if verified but many reports are saying that the Tennessee job may be filled.
