I never thought I’d say or agree with a statement like that. But I do.
I'm so disillusioned when I turn on the gameday clown show. What am I watching? And then stuff like this just keeps getting weirder and weirder every year

The show has become a parody of itself. But it sells. Other networks parrot the same shiz. Straying a little ot, I have no beef with the new Cornshucker unis, they look pretty good but it's no skin off my nose if they look bad.
The way that fox sports covers college football actually gives me some hope that it can be good again. espn needs to go away

Gameday? I haven't watched that since 2011. Maybe 2012 at the latest. DVR has really helped to solve a lot of CFB’s relatively new problems.
It was better 40 years ago, with tear-away jerseys.
Those tear-aways were awesome.
My guess is that they heyday of CFB was the 70s. Watching various replays of those games that are currently available, I don't see today's version of CFB being much better. I recently watched the USC-ND game with Joe Montana and it was pretty entertaining some 40+ years later.
