FC- Idiot on plane yells 'Jihad' and rushes toward the cockpit last night

Happened on a DC to Denver flight. Apparently claimed he had a bomb. How stupid do you have to be to do that? Passengers pinned him to the floor while plane turned back to DC. When police were taking him away video shows him yelling 'I'm sorry, I'm sorry'. What an idiot.

He made a threat that the law's hypothetical "reasonable person" would construe as a threat to his or her life, and the lives of others. Furthermore, one does not have the option of retreating from a bomb on an airplane at 30,000 feet. He is therefore lucky the passengers did not kill him to make sure he could not detonate what, if anything, he had with him. As he survived, however, I hope he is charged with making a terroristic threat unless he is found mentally defective and not responsible for his actions, in which case he should be institutionalized.
