FC: Iowa isu

Well Iowa doesn't have OSU on their schedule this year so they obviously had excess inventory of the dreaded piss balloons.

I added a FC to your subject line, as a link to another article about the situation was previously linked

FC = Fair Catch. You post that at the start of a Subject line if you are unsure if the subject has already been posted or discussed.

Years ago (a really long time ago), when somebody posted something that had already been discussed, folks would post humorous replies, like:

Noah Builds A Boat
Eve Eats An Apple
Rip Hires Young Assistant from Brooklyn
etc.

It was a board tradition, and some of the replies were hysterical. It was the boards way of saying you should check before posting.

More commonly across the Internet, SIAP (for Sorry If Already Posted) became a common way to provide immunity for posting something that had already been posted. Before that had become established, someone on the board had suggested FC. It worked much better in the old thread view, but it was a board tradition unique to this site.

Adam Builds A Boat
Eve Eats An Apple
Rip Hires Young Assistant from Brooklyn
etc.

Adam built a boat too?? I need to do a better job at keep up with the news.....

I know you meant Noah but visions of being alone with Eve may have affected your typing. :)

lol

Once again, posting while on the phone causes me problems. After all these years, I should have learned to just stay off the keyboard while on the phone.

good catch -- I corrected it.
