fc OT is presenting the facts on twitter considered negative recruiting?

Wow, showing rings comes across a little 'used car salesman', don't you think? I hope the Columbus 'journalists' pick up on this.

Just the big boys having a little fun comparing car salesmen. Meanwhile, Maryland drives an Edsall and Jesus Chryst couldn't raise Pitt from the dead...hahahaha!

Not at all, in my opinion. If I recall, many fans (including myself) was hoping the O'Brien won the Super Bowl with the Patriots prior to becoming our coach almost exclusively so he could use that championship - and its requisite jewelry - as a recruiting tool. Using rings as a recruiting tool is no different than using national championship, conference championship, bowl, or Heisman trophies to attract recruits.

It's just more of the immaturity you always see between Ohio St and Michigan. Selective cherry picked facts on the Michigan ad. The typical childish ring picture by the bucknut.

I wonder the fact he's Earle Bruce's grandson count for anything?

Actually, I thought the response by the OSU coach was brilliant. Michigan spent all that time and energy trying to diss the OSU coach and pump up their own. OSU coach doesn't get defensive, doesn't say anything. Just shows his qualifications... conference and national championship rings by the handful. Neutralized Michigan in one fell swoop.
