Minnesota: PJ Fleck decided to make a change at defensive coordinator over the weekend. Defensive coordinator Robb Smith it out. Joe Rossi will serve as defensive coordinator the rest of this season.

I Guess you can fire a Coordinator or an Assistant Coach during the season for not performing to the level that you expect.

how does Fleck expect to win a game with this guy? I mean look were he has coached... Rutgers? Maine? Thiel?? Does anyone remember Joe?

Giving up 55 and 630 yards to Illinois usually won't come without consequences.

Too bad Jerry Kill had health issues. He wasn’t flashy but I thought he was an excellent football coach. Flecks luster is starting to wear off but in fairness he has a roster loaded with frosh and sophomores and he has picked up the recruiting.

Robb Smith was fired at Arkansas after getting similar results. He and Fleck are friends and worked together at Rutrgres. Fleck let their relationship cloud his judgement.....

And, it’s always harder to fire a friend than not to hire him in the first place
