The guy got demoted from a team that couldn't even run against us and we want him. I'll pass.
206 rushing yards against us, not counting Mertzs' losses is not too shabby. The essentially ran the ball down our throats, as usual.
We said the same thing about Limegrover. We said the same thing about Trautwein.
Plus, it was with a probably all B1G Dt that we lost later in the year.
No. I hear you but Rudolph has been following Chryst around for 13 years and UW alum. I told my buddy who is hardcore UW fan about rumor two weeks ago and he said 'no way, those two are extremely tight'. Just saying that this a shocker for UW.
Don't doubt your point, but lots of recruits seem totally shocked when head coaches change jobs, e.g. Lincoln Riley and Brian Kelly this year.
Going to disagree here. Some simply hitch their wagon to guy who develops NFL talent. Rucci was very vocal that Rudolph was big reason for selecting UW. If UW selects someone with different philosophy on weight and strength approach then Rucci family might not like it for dear Nolan's development. Happens all the time. That said, Chryst is pretty bland guy and will go in-house hire with same philosophy so probably no risk here.
yea football coaches certainly starting at high school level are epic hypocrites. Had a new coach come my son junior year made all this big, heart felt talk about how he was making his home in our community, joining and church blah blah and end of season bounced to a "better" option. My son befriended a kid that summer at governor school who was all excited for the "new" coach who just came to their school, who was the guy who just left our school. My son tells kid do not be surprised when he leaves and kid like "oh no he joining a church and blah blah blah". Sure enough end of season coach bounces to low level job a Ga Tech. I mean Brian Kelly was literally in a recruits home recruiting him to ND when his deal with LSU closed. I mean how much more coldly hypocritical can some one be
And we were at full strength (Mustipher was in there)... yep, not too shabby at all.
I believe one of the assistants was in a recruit’s house. Coach Kelly was in Baton Rouge most of the day.
