See the link below. From the article:

"(CNN) -- A prosperity gospel televangelist from Louisiana says Jesus has asked him to buy a new private jet. And wouldn't you know it, Jesus has real nice taste in planes.

Jesse Duplantis, leader of Jesse Duplantis Ministries and the owner of three other private jets, is asking his followers to chip in so his ministry can purchase a brand new Dassault Falcon 7X, which runs about $54 million.

In a video recently published on his website, Duplantis says the planes get him closer to the Lord -- both literally and figuratively -- and he had a divine conversation in which Jesus asked for the new aircraft by name.

"It was one of the greatest statements the Lord ever told me, he said, 'Jesse do you want to come up where I'm at?'" the minister says. "'I want you to bleed me for a Falcon 7X.'"

By "bleed," Duplantis -- er, Jesus -- apparently meant "ask for donations.""

How long do you think it will take for him to get it?

Sometimes the SNL skits just write themselves.

There are people with (semi-)functioning brains who believe in this guy to the tune of him having 3 jets already.

How is this not fraud or otherwise illegal? Not only that, but churches don’t pay taxes... makes my blood boil!

I’m not a scholar, but doesn’t the Bible say that it’s easier to get a camel through the eye of a needle than a rich man into heaven? I’m sure I fumbled the quote, but the premise isn’t off base. Money and religion should not mix.

It does, which is why a fraud like this will get his. Anyone that feels compelled to give this group money just confirms the old “a fool and his money are easily parted.”

“Jesus wants me to have a jet.” Unreal. No shame.

His congregation is in my subdivision. You should see the mansion of a house that he built for himself across the street from the Mississippi River.

Hopefully God sees fit to unleash a 1000 year flood in his neighborhood (sparing your house)

Doesn’t the Lord deserve an airplane? Yes he does, and he’s asked Jesse to use it.

"Now there are some preachers on TV,
With a suit and a tie and a vest,
They want you to send your money to the Lord,
But they give you their address,
'Cause all of your donations are completely tax free,
God Bless you all but most of all send your money," Hank Williams Jr.- American Dream

I read a report that the mansion was built through donations from parishioners.

I am talking about his house but his ministries complex is quite massive also. Many people attend his services looking for the answers.

Which house are you referring too Fac?

Jesse Duplantis Net Worth: $50 Million.

He is benefited from profit entities, and inurement, or excessive compensation and lifestyle.

Duplantis Houses
Duplantis is famous for his luxury housing. He has owned a huge 25 room bungalow in River Road in the Destrehan suburbs of Louisiana.

House of Jesse Duplantis

This property estimated a price of $6 Million and reported as used as a church rectory. Jesse does not have to pay even a single penny as a tax for his house.
This property spreads out over an area of 35000 square foot.

He is also the owner of one more estate, currently in the Ormond Boulevard.

He has also done housing of about 20 rooms, and it also makes the property of valuation, a price of $3 Million. Time and often he has been in news highlights for using church donation sum in housing.

Duplantis Cars
Jesse Duplantis is the man who loves a luxury life which is enhanced by the addition of cars in the backyard garage. He has added Royce Phantom worth $350,000.

But he mostly travels with the vehicle provided by the Church. However, he has also kept expensive cars such as one Bentley and one Aston Martin in his motorcade.

“Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz...”

From simpler times?

Yeah it's a whole new dimension when it becomes telling your TV followers (most of them elderly shut-ins) -- "Please pray to God and I'm sure he'll tell you to buy me a plane."

Seems like it shouldn't be legal. Telling gullible people a pack of lies to get them to send money -- that's fraud, isn't it? But in this country if you make it into religion, then it suddenly becomes legal.

Emmett: It ain't the money ya understand, but if I don't charge ya somethin' the Presbyterians around here are likely to pray for my ruination. How does a hundred dollars a month strike ya?

Dalton: Fine.

Emmett: Can ya afford that much?

Dalton: If it keeps you in the good graces of the church.

Emmett: Ain't it peculiar how money seems to do that very thing?

Dalton? I thought you’d be bigger.
