HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Another high-ranking state official has resigned following the release of hundreds of offensive emails.

Deputy Inspector General Anthony Fiore resigned Thursday for no declared reason.

His decision to resign came just a day after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court released 398 pages of offensive emails that were exchanged among state officials.

Fiore was linked to emails dating back to 2009 when he was a special agent with the state’s attorney general’s office.

At Attorney General Kathleen Kane’s request, those emails were publicly released. She says those involved in the email exchange intend to drive her out of office.

Kane is facing criminal charges for allegedly leaking secret grand jury information and lying about it under oath.

I guess that could be it if this happened 20 years ago. I've been sent some raunchy videos by friends and I am sure about everyone has but there is so many different ways to send things of any kind now and they choose to send porn through email? They should probably be executed for stupidity.

Additionally, It is remarkable to me that that people in CEO, corporate administrative and government management positions don't know that porn sites are among the leaders in hacker access to users sites and the spreading of malware, spyware and viruses. Porn photos and videos cost businesses money and bring an extra layer of vulnerability to every firewall and network security system. This is not some joke or laughable matter. It should be part of every HR new employee package and part of periodic employee training package that you do it on company property and/or company time there is am immediate exit interview awaiting you.

A lot of the porn was linked to jokes. So it was the joke that was emailed. It wasn't a simple matter of emailing a naked woman. There was some saying linked to a position or action taking place in the graphic part.
