I do not know, but I know it was crazy seeing how bad Wiercioch and Racciato regressed at PITT. Crazy last year Racciato quit the team and now he is back on it this year.

I don't know his situation, but "sat out fall semester and withdrew in the spring" is a usually flag for something off the mat. Looks like Cael knew what he was doing.

no the Allaha (sp) kid from Hopewell Va gave him a good run in the finals of Beast or one of the majors.. Chance was only a soph or jr at the time

There is absolutely zero discussion on the Pitt Olympic board about the wrestling team. There used to be some diehard wrestling fans that posted there.

Wiercioch probably would have beaten Marstellar if not for the flip of the disc in the ultimate tiebreaker. Chance won the toss, chose bottom and escaped quickly. 3-2 match with 5 escapes.

Wiercioch (2, 1, 1, 1 at States) and Marsteller (1, 1, 1, 1 at States) -- 2 guys that looked to be super talented, and guys that would be major factors in college wrestling. This season, neither of them is even wrestling for a college team. Really is a shame to see such talent not be utilized as best as it could.
