PSU was not a finalist. Ohio State, Michigan, VT, Purdue, Navy, F&M.
Ohio State also has the #1 197 (Shumate) coming in the same year, plus Dlagnev coaching.
Michigan IMO has better but fewer HWT partners (Coon/Parris vs. Dlagnev/Orndorff/Traub/Boykin).
VT has Catka (true FR) looking good so far. Maybe Feldman could beat him out, but that's very high risk.
True, though he's officially at 197 on the Michigan roster. I do expect him to move up eventually, but that's not a given yet.
If we were include the 197 partners, that would greatly shift toward Ohio State with Cox, Moore, and Shumate. (Michigan would counter with Brucki, Embree, and Davison.)
2 other significant HWTs: Dhesi at Ohio State and Hemida at Michigan.
Feldman has nothing to do with that -- he's absolutely a HWT.
Shumate arrives for the 2023 season and presumably will tanshirt immediately. That's Singletary's last year (unless he applies for a 6th year due to last year's injury). Hoffman has one more year after that. Stein probably isn't keeping Shumate from starting.
I would love to see Garcia as a 240lb LB and Hwy wrestler. Dont think hell be in the NC consideration but would love for him to AA.

Gaige is pretty short though. 5'10" per Michigan FB page which is shorter than Kyle Snyder. He was a very good RB in HS BTW.
Barry Sanders was all of 5'8". Of course, he was an incredible athlete. One of the few who retired at the top of his career.
Maybe he could be a hynoski type of RB in the NFL but since they dont use a lot of FB in NFL a field side LB would be cool.
He'd have to change positions first. I don't see this kid as a heaveyweight. He's only 5'10. I could see him playing football at 220lbs and still wrestling 197
He is doing a great job of HS peaking. He is on a run.
But there has to be something in the water in Columbus that keeps guys underperforming and those that do perform in college heading for other pastures.....
Tan Tom's last HWT from Solanco (which is where Feldman is from, though he wrestles for Malvern Prep) found greener pastures elsewhere.
