Not sure if many of you have noticed this but the least 2 years against Urban Meyer the Buckeyes have used a very interesting strategy against us on kickoffs. They kick to their left and try to drop the ball at the goal line. The return men typically catch the ball and try to run it up since the ball falls outside of the end zone. Since we are pinned to one side of the field our return men can run straight or to their left. This allows Ohio State to pursue primarily from one direction sealing off our return game. Over the last two years our return game was pretty much non existent on kickoffs against Ohio State.
