looking for any advice. We are looking to take our two young kids to their first dual. Is there a “bad seat” in the house? Meaning they won’t be able to see much? Is there any pre match festivities they could enjoy? Any insider tips would be appreciated! Thanks!

The only "not great" seats in the house are very low on the extreme wings of Rec (where VIP seating and bleachers can obstruct some view). Even there, you can usually see pretty well.

North or South stands are better than the ends. Don't get too low.
Prematch: I'd guess they will do another banner raising for the NC.

With 6600 to 6700 seats/SRO in Rec Hall, and only a handful without a great line-of-sight to the mat, the easy answer is no, not a bad seat in the house.

If they have not been there, take them to look into the adjacent Lorenzo wrestling complex and look at the plaques of past All Americans and Champs. Inside Rec, usually they are passing out team posters pematch around the areas they sell the programs and lastly after the match head to the arena floor. Many of the wrestlers stay or come back out of the locker room and enjoy saying hello to young fans. Mark Hall and Bo are among the best at this.
