Conference All Bowl Team? Like the folks at ESPN don't have more pressing things that should demand their attention.
Conference All Bowl Team? Like the folks at ESPN don't have more pressing things that should demand their attention, like a college football championship game that had lower ratings than last year's.
Just my opinion, but I think by the time the college football playoff game rolls around, the general public is pretty worn out on cfb and is focused on NFL playoffs and other sports.
"Monday night at midnight" ain't a great way to make the product "viewer friendly" (even though I know there are other time zones and scheduling issues)Ummmm... it's a shame the ratings were lower, because that was a thriller of a game..

Add in the "make your ears bleed" inanity of Fowler and Kirky......and its a tough sell - even when the game itself is outstanding.
So much more enjoyable to watch it on the "replay"......without the incessant commercials, without all the tangential crapola and talking heads, and with Fowler and Kirky muted (ESPECIALLY with Fowler and Kirky muted)
To be sure. Sat there watching two, maybe more, minutes of commercials while they were doing an instant replay review and could only think WTF.. Guess when there are bills to be paid programming takes a back seat. As the end neared I almost didn't care about the outcome, I just wanted it to be over.
Yeah, I just didn't have the curiosity to watch it yesterday. JNJust my opinion, but I think by the time the college football playoff game rolls around, the general public is pretty worn out on cfb and is focused on NFL playoffs and other sports.
The game should be on a Saturday night.
