I can understand why as a special team's player that he was not mentioned, but former walk-on K Ryan Barker deserves at least an honorable mention.

Barker provided much needed stability and proficiency to our FG kicking game. Not to mention the FG in OT that sealed the win on the road against USC (IIRC).
Someone pointed out the Rucci had a bad rating in the ND game but you can clearly see the talent. I am hopeful he's found some confidence and can gain another 15 lbs before August. Lets hope this list, a year from now, includes a WR, a LBer, and a DT.
Alonzo Ford exceeded my expectations. When he went down, he was playing as well as, if not better than every DT not named Zane. He was also getting better every game as he was taking snaps away from 51. I agree on Rucci as well.
I thought Ford was our best tackler. He would wrap-up and put the guy on the ground as opposed to going for the big hit and missing. I really hope he can come back from injury and a statement.
It will be big for the defense if Ford can come back healthy for 2025, and hopefully he's able to practice some this Spring. A healthy Ford along with Durant as starters would be as good as any starters in the B10. And having talented senior starters would allow the many younger DT's on the roster to sort out the rest of the DT depth chart in Fall camp and during the first few games.
I agree that Ford was getting better each game, and when he seemed to pass Beamon on the depth chart that seemed to coincide with Beamon quitting thereafter.
