Since Flo signed the agreement with the Big Ten I have been back and forth on getting a subscription with them or just the BTNplus as I did last year. I was about to sign up with Flo this morning so I can watch tonight but then looked at their post about "9 live events this weekend" but did not see PSU/Bucknell listed for Sunday, though, in their announcement about the deal it does have it listed. Anyone know if Flo is showing Sunday's dual?(perfect time for Smalls to chime in).

I don't see it listed on Flo or BTN.

I’m a late adopter of technology. If a company has a product, I’m waiting until the bugs are worked out, the reliability is near bomb-proof, and then I’ll spend my time/dollars on it. Until then, I’ll leave it to the lab rats to deal with the kinks.

The schedule on gopsusports.com has Sunday's meet shown as being on 'LIONVISION'. I'm not familiar though.

I was one of the first to get LionVision VR. Clunky and useless was about as kind as i could be in describing it. Just a cardboard box (that you fold together yourself) and watch a limited number of things they have produced (mostly the football locker room). That was over a year ago, so maybe they’ve come a long way. It it would have to be a loooong way for me to watch a match using it. Im thinking there was a subscription fee to it as well, so i pitched my “glasses” after a few attempts.

Can the Flo stream pause the action? IIRC there is pause in BTN Plus. To me, that can be worth paying for.

to this point, while tonight is the opener if your frugal with your money let the wrestling world see if there are kinks to work out tonight and spend your money on sunday. also the match will be saved so if you hear things you like, pay the money and go back and rewatch it.

bigger issues will come down the road when the 1st away match happens and the folks run to the net to see the team. not saying there will be issues but that is when i could see issues showing up that wont when they are home.

Just get Flo. They have improved immensely since the PSU/OSU debacle. It's a bargain if you pay the one-time, 12-month fee. Lots of good wrestling coverage.

Plus, you'll get to watch the Keystone Classic and Scuffle.

Except it's not a bargain when I don't want to pay $150 for a whole year I won't watch. 4 months X $20 is much better.

Not a bad option either if they fixed their cancellation issues. Personally, I enjoy the freestyle season

I should have been clearer.....I'm only seeing the option for yearly. I do not see a monthly option. That's what I used last year and I appear not to have the option.

Hmmm. Didn't know that. Yeah I could see how that would turn some away.

I would just get BTNPlus. Flo is downright putrid when it comes to service. If you look around at literally any event they stream all you see are unhappy customers who had a terrible streaming experience because Flo can't get their shit together. I would give FloWrestling an F-.

I'd call them, or email them.

  • What type of membership options does FloSports offer?
There are two different subscriptions for FloPRO. A monthly subscription, which bills monthly, and a yearly subscription that is billed annually. These subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Please note that FloPRO is not a Pay Per View (PPV) service, but rather a recurring subscription.

I beg to differ. They have had their issues, but the good quality streams of events that I simply can't get anywhere else has far outweighed the problems they've had. Now that they've added all the other sports under one umbrella, I'll be switching to the annual membership, so I can see those, too.

In balance, I really appreciate the contributions that FLO has made to wrestling. I thoroughly enjoy Willie and CP on their podcast, Bader is very entertaining and knowledgeable as a PBP commentator for matches, and Nomad provides some interesting content as well. I have also enjoyed watching the FLO productions on Kolat, T & T, David Taylor and others. On the other hand, I have also experienced the frozen streaming that so many complain about during some of the matches they broadcast, but for every bad experience I've had with FLO, I have had 10 good ones. In short, I am grateful for all the fun that I have had as a result of FLO's content and am very happy to be able to invest in a subscription. Obviously everyone will need to make that choice on an individual basis, but at least we have a choice.

Cache or cookie problem. The option is now there for a monthly subscription. But....now it's not $20 month. Now it's $30 and more than I'm willing to consider. BTN will drive the bus now.....at $15/month

flo was great for super32 and for clarion/daktronics last weekend. plus it looks like some other big ten sports will be on flo as well: w. volleyball, hockey, basketball.

Lots of great wrestling you'll be missing out on.

Botttom line Flo is easier and more convenient for me. I liked how the matches and entire show is now on the site. Good job Flo. Now, what about Bucknell?

Some people might say you don't need to subscribe to Flo at all to watch all of their content.

Lionvision is app based?
Lionvision is an app. I just downloaded it. Subscription-based of course. $3.99 for 1 month. I guess the B10 Revenue isn't enough, now we have to start our own subscription-based service:confused:.

http://www.gopsusports.com/ot/lionvision.html

I just did the the "try it" tab at the bottom of the app screen. It's very interesting. I don't know if lionvision and lionvision VR are the same thing or not, but I don't know about trying to watch a wrestling match like that??? It's like a live version of Google Street View, only with sports, not roads and houses. LOL
