The opening commentary is about Snyder to the NLWC with mentions of several PSUers, the 1st question is about Snyder's new training partners, the 2nd question is about PSU's success and having lost their recruiting mojo, the 3rd question is about Bo and MMA

For those keeping track, this is week 158, and despite promises he tweeted, no response to Flo's article about Olympic reffing corruption from Foley.

Mike C must be on a timeout in a padded room, as he had zero questions in this week's Mailbag.

You can access this week's Mailbag at THIS LINK

And of course one of the comments says that Snyder is coming to NLWC strictly for the money. Wow, that slush fund has to be getting stretched thin by now....

Caveat Emptor. That one comment was by the Goofer/Husker House Troll.

Speaking of which: Cassar training with Snyder is very bad news for Steveson. Perhaps partying + legal trouble wasn't the best use of his offseason.

So I am REALLY lost on this one......

Q: With all the success that Penn State has had the last few years on the mat, has that negatively affected their recruiting, and have they lost their recruiting mojo?
-- Rick B.

......does Alabama's and Clemson's success in football have negative effect on recruiting???? John Hopkins for Lacrosse, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina for basketball????

A lot of casual fans are going to learn the meaning of “Gray Shirt” come November/December 2020.

Losers go home with the prom queen from 30 years ago who has aged badly, and convince themselves (but nobody else) that the winners' girls are ugly.

Hahaha....I know a guy who aged well into his late 40s...but out of college he married a gal that was a calendar girl ,college cheerleader, etc, etc, etc....gorgeous a cali 10 for sure.

He was very pompous about marrying up and all the lines that go with it. At his wedding at the bar late in the night his best man made a cheers that she would not look like her mom in 30 years....he got mad as drunk people do and people went their way for the night.

That was 20+ years ago....she now looks like the principal from Billy Madison and he hates life.

Lesson learned????.....many

Well there's a girl that lives up the block
Back in school she could turn all the boy's heads
Sometimes on a Friday I'll stop by
And have a few drinks after she put her kids to bed

Her and her husband Bobby, well they split up
I guess it's two years gone by now
We just sit around talking about the old times,
She says when she feels like crying
She starts laughing thinking about

Glory days well they'll pass you by
Glory days in the wink of a young girl's eye
Glory days, glory days

“I for one am now excited about this reboot and seeing just how potent a Cael-trained Snyder will look in early competition. I think 2.0 is going to surprise a lot of people, or maybe confirm their preexisting thoughts about the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club's impact on top-tier talent.”

I thought, initially, "their" referred to Ohio State, because of the KS discussion. But after reading Foley's response I realized the question was probably about PSU.

Quite a thought by Foley. I think that his thought is also a surprise or no surprise to a lot of people (the vast majority being in the latter camp).

Need a greater mind's hot takes, paid or not. Calling CropDuster.
