an answer that focuses on Hall and also includes Joseph, Foley gives his chances for each returning NCAA champ to repeat so 5 PSUers are in that answer, and a Q & A that includes PSU.

For those keeping track, this is week 55, and despite promises he tweeted, no response to Flo's article about Olympic reffing corruption from Foley.

Also, Mike C is slacking -- only 3 questions from him this week. ;)

I think Mike C. is feeling Gregg Y. nipping at his heels!

Using Foley's percent chances of champions repeating you get a 15% chance of all five PSU champs repeating in March.

Hmmm, it says at the bottom of Foley's page that Roar commented a blank comment.

Foley logic at work: Zain and Jason 99% favorites, will win barring injury. Snyder 100%, only nuclear winter can block him.

Apparently Snyder has 0% chance of injury despite giving up 40+ lb to some monsters like Coon.

I don't disagree with his predictions, but the lack of injury caveat seems especially silly since Snyder was injured at HWT 2 years ago.

EDIT: it was last year, I misremenbered.

Didn't Snyder also finish with a bit of an injury last year? Wasn't that justification for not having as impressive wins the last few bouts, or am I remembering back too far?

Yep, got an error message when posting, then couldn't delete my empty post. Tried 2x, that's plenty...moved on.

Just for my BWI Forum buds...I was responding to the PSU blowout comment just above my empty post, and would have written something like..."PSU blowout or not, 2017 NCAA's was a signal for other teams to up their game".

Yeah, some sort of rib issue. Maybe that's the Foley logic -- not even injury can stop Snyder.

Supposedly he broke a rib in the semis (or maybe it was the quarters) last year, but he sure didn't wrestle like he had a broken rib.

Snyder was noticeably wincing against Medbery when Medbery was on top. He still picked him up on a single leg, but Snyder definitely had some kind of injury.

Faulty indeed!

Why would nuclear winter stop a wrestler? Snyder'd be like, "... then we will wrestle in the shade!"

Mike Kroells rode him like a pony in the quarters if I remember - Snyder started wincing and literally crawled off the mat.
