Foley is an *ss. Suriano is forced labor? If I understand this correctly, Suriano agreed to wrestle at PSU in exchange for scholarship money to pay for all or a portion of his college education. What exactly is forced about that? Also, maybe Foley does not realize that every college wrestling program in the country loses money.
Every college from a financial perspective would be better off eliminating every sport that does not turn a profit which is just about every program with the exception of football and men's basketball (a lot of those programs lose money too). No sport, no need for an athletic scholarship and somehow Suriano is forced labor. I can see some merit with that stance for a PSU football which brings in millions (not that I agree with it).
Someone should ask Suriano if he had a choice would he choose between not wrestling and paying for his entire education or wrestle and have a big chunk of his college education paid for and have to deal with NCAA and B1G rules (which he apparently is special and does not have too).
With that thinking, I have to conclude that Foley has been thrown on his head a few too many times.
